What drew you to yoga?
One of my best friends got certified to teach yoga in the middle of the pandemic. She wanted a way to practice cueing so she hosted free yoga classes on Zoom. I became a yoga addict overnight. It started as, “I’ll do this one time,” to a weekly Tuesday night routine. After a few months of practicing solely at home, I decided to expand my yoga palate by joining a yoga studio. It became very obvious to me that I had stumbled upon my second home.
Why do you practice?
To feel balanced.
(Life+) How does yoga change you off the mat?
Hmmm, if you asked my twin sister or my husband they would say that I am more level headed.
What is your style?
Staying curious! I love to challenge myself by changing things up.
Where are you when you’re not teaching?
Teaching middle school students by day and being the cool aunt/dog mom by night.
What illuminates you?
Dancing, sunshine, dogs, and a cozy blanket.
