What drew you to meditation?
About 5 years ago, one of my favorite event planners in Southern California was hosting an all-women's meditation retreat in Joshua Tree. She had space for 13 women to come and learn about meditation, connect in a judgment-free community, and spend 4 days nourishing the body, mind, and soul. I felt called to attend and was beyond grateful to receive a spot! From that weekend on, I was deeply involved with the practice of meditation and became a 200-hr certified facilitator in 2019.
Why do you practice?
Meditation is a game-changer. I practice because it allows me a deeper connection to myself and my purpose, which allows me a deeper and more present connection to everything and everyone around me.
(Life+) How does yoga change you off the mat?
My meditation practice keeps me centered and focused on my evolution. The only constant in life is change - meditation helps me learn and grow through the little things and the big things!
What is your style?
Reverence for the practice while keeping it light and fun, always held in a space of unconditional love.
Where are you when you’re not teaching?
Traveling as often as humanly possible!! I also work full time as a Sales Director for a global marketing company, take lots of walks with my dog, Olive, and love to cook and bake!
