What drew you to yoga?
I have always enjoyed exercising with friends and I never turn down an invitation to do some thing active. However, yoga was my least favorite activity and I only did it for the sake of others. I was so fidgety and I had such a monkey brain. I thought the poses were extremely uncomfortable! But somehow I knew it was something I needed and I learned to become a little more comfortable with it. I finally experienced the magic of yoga while on vacation in Nosara, Costa Rica.
Why do you practice?
I practice yoga because I just don’t feel right without it anymore.
(Life+) How does yoga change you off the mat?
It helps me feel calmer and more clear headed when I’m off the Mat. I think it even helps me walk a little bit taller.
What is your style?
My style is fun. I try not to take myself too seriously and to add a fun little twist here or there.
Where are you when you’re not teaching?
When I’m not teaching yoga, my other passions include mountain biking, paddle boarding, walking, jogging, and socializing with family and friends.
