What drew you to yoga?
I ended up in yoga to complement my running schedule. I was never an athlete growing up and picked up running after graduating from Ohio State. I quickly fell in love with practicing yoga and it became my preferred form of movement.
Why do you practice?
I practice to keep myself grounded, creative, and happy.
(Life+) How does yoga change you off the mat?
Yoga improves my mental clarity and builds my confidence- allowing me to show up in life with positivity (most of the time).
What is your style?
Power with humor. I try not to take yoga too seriously and you will definitely get a sense of that in my classes.
Where are you when you’re not teaching?
Whipping up a new recipe, strolling around Harrison West with my husband, or snuggling my dog at home.
What illuminates you?
Love, Community, and Ice Cream.
