What drew you to yoga?
I have struggled with mobility and chronic joint pain, and figured…why not give yoga a try. My best friend became a yoga teacher and shortly after I moved to Columbus. I knew moving to a new city I needed to find a niche, and I took my first Aireal Yoga class at LIT. Later in the summer, LIT hosted their YTT and the universe gave me no choice other than to jump in feet first.
Why do you practice?
To have continuous maneuverability. I will be 100 years old, practicing yoga and walking down the stairs.
(Life+) How does yoga change you off the mat?
The 8 limbs of yoga are instilled in my daily living that started on the mat and resonate off.
What is your style?
Creative, dynamic and welcoming. Students can expect to experience funky transitions, mobility practice and options provided throughout class.
Where are you when you’re not teaching?
Ensuring Lululemon stores are receiving their product, drinking homemade lattes, or at the plant store.
What illuminates you?
Spreading kindness.
