What drew you to yoga?
I walked into my first yoga class knowing absolutely nothing about it. All I knew at the time was that I needed a new way to move my body. Within one class, my entire being (body AND mind) was transformed.
Why do you practice?
I practice to keep myself grounded mentally, find a sense of presence, and to unleash my vitality. To me, yoga transcends far beyond the physical asana and has become the foundation of my life.
(Life+) How does yoga change you off the mat?
Yoga helps me bring my focus entirely inward so that I am able to cultivate my energetic flow and exude my best energy off my mat. Also, I am a naturally anxious person, and yoga allows me to show up in life with a sense of calm and relaxation.
What is your style?
My style of teaching is to bring the focus to the self, the breath, and the mind while simultaneously challenging and strengthening the physical body. I want my students to tune into the sensation of the practice as it unfolds in their mind and body. Additionally, I focus on strengthening the core, as I believe that helps build the foundation of a sustainable, safe, and strong practice.
Where are you when you’re not teaching?
When I am off my mat, you can find me walking all around town with my pup, Starfox!

I am illuminated by the incredible opportunity to build my greatest life and by spreading loving energy to those around me.
